Milagros Exist

Buenas! Well I have never been happier. I honestly love sharing the gospel. Our zone is going to have a noche blanca this Saturday. We only had possibilities for this Saturday. We now have a baptism this Saturday!! Also Bienvenido Elder Thompson a Guatemala!!

Miracle:

Maria went to church this past Sunday. My companion and I after the sacrament meeting pulled her aside to have a lesson with her. We had an amazing lesson with her about how we can change our lives and be better. We then asked her what would keep her from being baptized and she said nothing. We asked her when she would be willing to be baptized and she replied when you two can prepare my baptism. She will be baptized this Saturday and we all are super excited. We asked her the other night if she is ready for Saturday and she replied for my baptism? Sí!

I also got sent to the office yesterday to go learn how to give a shot and will give an Hna, in my zone, 3 shots in the next 2 weeks. (videos and photos to follow next week) Everyone jokes that I am going to be the next nurse.

Everything is possible. There is no room for faith if we have fear or doubts in our hearts. There are blessings waiting for us and all we have to do is act in faith.

Read 1 Nephi 7:12 (:

6 Months

Well, I have hit my 6 month mark, which is super crazy. I love being a missionary and I absolutely love Guatemala.

What I learned/did in 6 months:

1. how to eat and walk fast
2. how to eat stuff I don´t want to (shrimp, bolik)
3. how to wake up before 6:30 AM
4. how to run home at 9:25 PM
5. how to go house looking and move houses without the Army
6. loved the people
7. loved serving the people
8. rode in the most crowded buses
9. had cambios de emergencia
10. loved being a missionary

I love this gospel.

El Tejar week 2

This week flew by.. This week we have been really busy. We had zone conference to get to know our new President and his family. My companion and I have been looking for a new house and went house looking with the Zone Leaders... We finally found a house and we move in tomorrow. We saw a lot of miracles for the sacrifices we were making. Something I have learned in the mission is that miracles really do exist. All we have to do is live worthy to receive them and recognize them. We went to Solola to play soccer with 3 other zones. Our zone had shirts made and were definitely the most matchy zone there. It was a lot of fun, and I got to see Hna DeRosier.

1 Nephi 16:29 ¨... Y así vemos que por pequeños medios el Señor puede realizar grandes cosas.¨

I know without a doubt that through our faith and diligence we can find miracles. I know that the hand of God is in our lives always. We just have to look for it. I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves every one of us.

Have a good week! I love you all!

El TEJAR

Buenas! I am doing great here in El Tejar, Chimal. I love the mountains, but not the super steep hills (that kill mine and my companion's knees) and the cold. We are getting to the area relatively fast. We are basically opening an area, because my companion was only in El Tejar for one week and then her companion broke her foot so we don't know many members and conversos. She is from Puebla, Mexico. We honestly have so much fun together working hard to baptize every week. DON CHICO (Francisco) was baptized this Sunday. It was a miracle. I am happy and honestly love being a missionary.

I love you all!

We went to Panajachel and took a lot of pictures... And the baptism of Don Chico!
